any ideas to help control mood swings?

so.. i have really bad mood swings. especially when tom (time of month) comes. i end up fighting with my parents really bad and getting really pissy with everyone. i mean one minute im angry then im crying then im really happy. any suggestions of what to do?

You recognize that you have this problem, and you recognize that it happens when you're on your period. So plan for it. Recognize the mood swings and do what you can to calm down when you get angry. Count to 15 before you say something.
PMS is NOT an excuse to treat other people poorly. Reel yourself back in.

I would reccomend trying different types of teas. Not only is tea good for you but it is also very relaxing. Raspberry tea is good for women who are on their Tom. oral so trying lavendar and chamomile tea is calming and gives a sedative effect, which if ya had problems sleeping you could use that. Valerian root tea is used for mood swings, mild sedation anxiety, sleep along with other this. all these herbs are natural I would reccomend going to a local health food store where they carry these teas in either packages or bulk section. With the valerian root make sure you ask the people there how much you should put in tea. Hope this helps and you feel better ![]()
