Weight Loss!

Hey girls!
ThisyearI'vedecidedtodoanultimatetransformationofmybody, from277poundsto150pounds! Ihavealwaysbeenaplussizegirl, sinceIwasinalittlegirlbutnowI'vedecidedit'stimeforachangeandtostarttakingcareofmybodythewayitshouldbe!

 

So, I have started working out an hour every day and eating considerably healthier not to mention less food intake! In a week alone I have lost 6 pounds (277-271lbs) and I'm hoping to lose that much again on this weeks weigh in!

 

The point of this post was to ask for any girls that would love to join the ride with me! Also, give me any tips for those who have gone through what I am now. I'd love to get support but most of all give support for those who are thinking of a lifestyle change as well! :smileyvery-happy:

I would love too! I'm on a journey to loss about 15-20 lbs before leaving to a different state. I've always been the "bigger" one of my family and for that they call me cow :/ (They mean it in the nicest possibly way and I mean I love collecting plush cows hehe) And I actually want to be healthy for once in my life xD

Wow, that's good for you girl! I would love to lose that much in a week lol. I used to be 130lbs and now 152llbs... Share your secrets lol! What type of food do you eat and how many times do you eat a day? Cause I eat alot lol

Hi Carley,

 

you should be really proud.  i have been able to lose weight by making changes like not eating after 8 pm, writing down what i eat, drinking juice and seltzer instead of soda.  i have not been on a drastic diet but my pants fit better.

I love the attitude you've adopted on changing for the better! I'd love to join you as well. I've been gaining non stop since I started college (150lbs) and am now at 200lbs (90kg) and it is too much for my shortness XD. Send me a message! :catvery-happy:

I would love to congratulate you on your weight loss and would even more love to support you on your journey to develop a healthier lifestyle. You go gurl! You've worked so hard keep going and reach the goals I'm sure you'll complete. :smileyhappy:
I myself have a running injury so I have not been able to and won't be able to run (something I like to do for exercise) for a while.
I quickly gained weight because of my inactivity and poor eating habits and felt horrible. (My body was not used to the changes)
So now I'm looking for alternative ways to lose the weight I gained and keep it off until I heal up and can start running again.

So I offer you support and will be one of the many people who are striving for a healthier lifestyle. :smileyhappy:

Great Idea!!

Hey Girls,

 

There is an online community for weight loss for teen girls called fitsmi.com that is offering 16 weeks of FREE coaching with a nutritionist (who is really knowledgable).   A friend of mine just did it and said it was really helpful and she learned a lot and has lost weight.  They are giving away the coaching to the first 20 girls who sign up.   i think it starts in march or maybe april.  anyway, you can check it out at fitsmi.com.
