Anyway I'm a bi girl who's forced to keep a straight face. I have been out for a soon to be five years. At family functions most of the time I'm forced to deal with questions about my relationship status most of the time I've been ignoring it but as I got older the questions got more and more detailed and keep coming up. It's too the point my family wants to set me up with with someone as they think I'm too old to not have a boyfriend plus they want me to get married and have kids soon and I haven't even started college. They are often older (50 plus) and grew up in a Christian home which is why they want me to do this and I'm scared of telling them because of the pressure/Christian background they have. Can you girls help me with ideas of what to say?

If you are only bi-sexual I don't see what the big deal is or why you even have to tell them unless you just want too. I'm bi-sexual or pansexual and I really don't even know how many people actually know that. I mean I don't hide it but I don't go around telling everyone either. I currently have a boyfriend and he knows (he himself is bi/pansexual). Also no matter what your sexual orentation older family members always start getting pushy and or overly excited about being in a serious relationship, getting married, having babies etc. You are afraid to tell them because of their Christian background but a lot of religious people are actually quite tolerant of people's sexual orentation. Unless they have been spewing hatred about homosexuality all the time I doubt they really mind. Though if they have been spewing hatred it is up to you what you tell them.
