What's On Your Mind?

Hi my name is Sydney, I am about 13 years old. I live in Dubuque, Iowa I have brown hair, hazel green eyes, and tan skin. I posted this becauseI have a crush on my best friend, his name is Zach, he has blonde hair, blue eyes, and the most sweet, funny, crazy, kind, protective personality. Zach is 14 and my best friend, I never thought I would fall for him, I just couldn't handle it. I just love him with all my heart, and he is the only thing I think about. And I have wanted to ask him out for year but he either had a girlfriend or I was to scared. Once we kissed in his bed room, he did not push me away he just let me. I like him and that is all that happened between us, I just want be more then friends. Please reply and I need some advice on how to handle this.

I would say you should get him alone sometime when you two are hanging out and when he is available (if possible) and just be REALLY honest with him. If you can't do this, because I dont know if I could, wait for a school dance or something to come up (something where you need a date (even something like a family wedding!)) and just ask him to go with you "as friends." I will warn you that I have never done anything like this, but im just trying to spew out some ideas for u (Oh and this is advice i have gotton from my friends who are wayyyyy more experienced than me)

If you have a strong feeling he likes you back, by the way he seems around you then try and bring up the conversation without giving it away too much and see how he reacts! Me and my best friend we're the same! I was so scared to tell him. But in the end he told me, best friend relationships are perfect so I hope all goes well for you even thoug you are very young still! Xx

Well! I guess the thing is, you are both friends well best friends and you want to go to the next level, throw in some hints, show him you're interested, but don't make it too obvious, spend some time alone with him, get a little unecpected if you must, a little physicality won't hurt, maybe a brush on the arm or a simple nudge, make some inside jokes because it could potentially bring you two closer its something kept between the two of you alone, keep him on his toes let him run for you, tell him you have a secret and make him crave to know it just slowly but surely be flirtier but don't get to close in his face, sometimes you gotta pull back, look for a physical weakness in him, say he's ticklish, behold you have become the tickle monster, lets say cookies are his life, you are now the cookie keeper

My advice may not be clear or may not be right, you can take it or leave it, if you have anything to ask,  just ask me!
