The Moore, the merrier.
The Moore family of Glen Oak California is just like any other family; a husband, wife, kids, and a dog. Whats different about them is that the father runs Glen Oak Community Church so everybody knows Reverend Moore and his family, which isn't always a good thing. There can be a lot of drama but the Moore's can always rely on love, faith, and family.
cheesy plot but its inspired by the show 7th Heaven. There can be more or less than 7 kids and some can be adopted or fosters. we can use lots of outside characters too- future fosters or people seeking advice from Rev. Moore. No pre-mades but some ideas-- gay son or daughter, rebellious trouble maker, doesnt have faith, wants to switch religions, an abused friend who needs a place to stay, etc. Oh there can also be twins too so the kids ages are close together and if anyone wants to play kid siblings, your welcome to.
Characters Needed (so far):
Rev. Moore.
Mrs. Moore

Adam Moore, 20
Adam is the oldest of the Moore family. He likes it that way, he is a very protective and caring older brother. He takes after his father, Reverend Moore. Adam is your typical All-American Boy, grew up with a good family life, played baseball, made decent grades. He is a sophomore in college studying Economics. He still regularly attends church, he unlike some of his siblings, never gets tired of it. He knows how to have a good time but remembers his morals and values. He loves helping other, especially his siblings. It makes his day when they come to him for advice. He is a true gentlemen that his parents are proud of.

Abigail "Abby" Gordon, 17
Abigail grew up in Reverend Moore's church, but on the opposite side of town. Her mother died when she was eight and her father is a drunk. Her dad has been like that since Abby was little. He hits her, calls her names, and more. She hides it well, and she has gotten used to it. But now that she is older she understands how wrong it is. She wants nothing more to get away from it all, but her dad is all she has and she is afraid to leave. She has finally found a way out of it. She is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Alex. He's a son of the preacher and she's crazy in love with him. She knows that it's a little crazy to be getting married right after college, but she feels as if he's her soulmate and this is right. Alex doesn't know about her abuse though. She knows that it would cause so much commotion if he were to find out, she knows in a year she'll be out of there and the abuse will stop.

Joy Moore
17
Joy has given up on religion. It never helped her in the way she was told,
never made any sense to her, never seemed to be something of importance
in her life. Going to church every Sunday seemed pointless and a waste of
time. Anyway, she was always in bed, nursing an hangover, normally at her
best friend's house. Joy has become a bit of a partier, not caring about her
grades, choosing to go out drinking and doing drugs. She knows her parents
don't approve, but she could care less.

Alexander Moore.
18.

Alex is sweet and kind and mature for his age. He isn't rebellious at all; he's obedient, gets straight A's, helps run the Sunday school class every week. He's even kept his word on staying a virgin til marriage. He fell in love with a nice Christian girl is getting married after graduation, though his parents have mixed feelings about that but he loves his fiance. He's planning on getting a teaching degree so he can work a Christian based school or even a school for underprivileged children.
Grace Moore
16

Grace is outgoing and sweet and has pretty strong values, thanks to her family. She likes to help people and make people smile. Her true passion is singing. She sings in the Church chior and has been in dozens of school musicals and church productions. She really feels like she belongs on stage and her ultimate dream is to perform on Broadway, but she worries it won't happen. She knows her parents wouldn't want her in a big dirty city, struggling to get by. She understands their fears but its her dream and she doesn't want to be held back for a small town life under the watch of her parents.
