"Thanks." Desiree said sitting down, she looked at the food infront of them, even with the grocery store run it was more food than they would eat in a day, let alone just for one meal.
"This is a lot." Silas noted before taking a bite. It was pretty good too. "I can't believe so many people have been able to hold up here for this much time."
Luther smiled happily and shoveled some food into his mouth "It's really good too." He spoke through a mouthful. Desiree elbowed him in the ribs "Manners cost nothing." She told him.
Desiree couldn't even be bothered to react angrily to him, him almost dying was probably going to get him out of a lot of trouble for a while. She just rolled her eyes at him and took a bite of the food on her plate.
Silas continued to eat his food. They'd practically been starving the past few weeks. He scratched at the bandage around his arm as it irritated him but he was grateful he survived the bite and would just be left with a scar.
"Malcolm said their zombies had escaped." Silas told her. He didn't really have a reason to question him but he was suspicious of this place. It seemed to good to be true.
