i don't know if anyone can tell you what you should do . . . what it comes down to is what you want to do, regardless of an ultimatum. it sounds to me like finishing your classes the way you were supposed to sounds important to you, so whether or not you decide to get into real estate, you should continue those for yourself if that's what you want. it's a tough choice, the real estate can more than likely give you a near guarantee for your future, but it has to be something you want to do, otherwise it won't make you happy. you don't have to change who you are for anyone else, and don't worry about being judged for what you want. whichever one you choose isn't settling
