In all relationships their is some level of wanting to know about your partner, but to answer your question no it's not okay.
Their is a big difference between love and worry and just straight out possessive. You are a girl not just his girl and if you want to dress in sweats one day, and dress more cute the next, you can. Go hang out with your friends if you want or hang out with his IF YOU WANT. Really it's all about if YOU WANT to, no one has the right to tell you what to,who to do it with or what to wear. (Parents sometimes but on some level Only). Talk with your boyfriend about it and tell him how you feel, if he really does care about you then he'll stop the possessiveness and go back to being the loving, caring and sometimes worried guy. If you feel like you really can't talk to him about it or he doesn't listen but you still love him, talk to a trusted adult about it and go from there.
Showing Possessive feelings is not the same as Love.
Hope it all works out!
