So there's this guy who I've recently decided I like. He's one of my best friends and all of our mutual friend like to make jokes that we are dating or that we are secretly in love. For quite some time I just put up with it because I loved being his friend but its gone to far! I can't have a single conversation anymore that doesn't involve his name, and to make things worse he started making jokes that I liked him and I wanted to date him......I just can't take it anymore! What should I do now? I don't really want to stop talking to him. I just to be his friend without anyone saying anything about us dating! Please help!

Tell your friends the jokes are getting old and that you're annoyed.

I've been through this when I was in High school, and even after I graduated my friends made jokes. Just shy it off joke around with them , show them that you don't vcare and that your sassy. In return the boy might start to lie your spunk and you careless attitude to jokes. Everyone loves someone who can take a joke.

I  remember that when I was younger and honestly I remember it getting worse the more I denied it. I guess it's better to ignore; if they see they're not getting a reaction they'll eventually stop. In the meanwhile though it's going to suck putting up with it. It seems like your friend is using you to showing off by bragging that you like him (even though you don't) maybe he does who knows.
