All my friends are not virgins. & everytime it becomes the topic of discussion I just seem like a loser! cause I don't know anything.. And then a guy would make a comment and say "oh you don't know anything, you're stush" I don't believe in sex before marriage, ( not being judgmental, just a personal opinion) but I always think that people won't go for me, just because I'm not experienced? So I wanted your views on should I just get is out of the way? Thanks in advance!!!

nope it's not bad. I'm a virgin even though my friends arn't. I don't plan on waiting till marriage but I am waiting for the perfect moment with the perfect boy ( my boyfriend ) It's totally your choice and nobody elses

Totally not I'm 19 and still a virgin since I'm waiting for the perfect person and it sounds like your doing the same thing as well. Don't forget some people (and yes you're friends included) may be lying about not being a virgin to fit in with their peers you may not know it.

Coming from a non-virgin, I'm telling you there's nothing wrong with being a virgin. In fact I often wish I saved my virginity for someone I actually care about, like my boyfriend. Just remember that if you wanted to be like one of your friends who have sex whenever you could, but instead you choose not to.. You have the advantage because they could never become a virgin again. Wait until you're ready. : )

I always wnder this too Im 19 and still a virgin, though most don't really beleive it. Its hard because a lot of guys are um interested in me, but few are decent and even fewer nice. (not to sound conceited here haha)

Thankyou!! After some of you had said - not that you regret losing your virginity, but wished you waited a little longer, makes me appreciate and enhance the fact that i still am one! I've been strong not to give in to peer pressure, and i think i need to hold it out a little longer! Xo

No it isn't a bad thing to be a virgin & No you shouldn't just "get it out of the way". Have sex when you are comfortable with having sex if that means waiting till after marriage that is your choice and it shouldn't matter what "your friends" think or say or act like etc. If your friends are putting you down about it they don't sound like really good friends to me. Besides the only one your virginity should matter to is yourself and the people your in a relationship should know and be accepting of it.

I didn't lose my virginity till I was 18 and in a serious relationship. I'm still in a relationship with the same guy 3 years later.

I'm going to guess you're a teen like myself? Well, did you know that less than half of teens in the united states are sexually active? So you're not the minority hun, they actually are. So no, there is nothing wrong with being a virgin. =)

Being a virgin is nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm still a virgin as we speak!!!! I've decided to be a virgin for as long as I can. Most people that I've talked to that aren't virgins wish they were again or could have it back because it was with the wrong person and for the wrong reasons.
