I'm 12, but I act about 18, I look about 17 and I feel about 20.

My mum and I belong to a theatre group, which consists if people of all ages. About 3 weeks ago, a new member joined. He's about 25, and he is the most attractive guy I have ever seen in my entire life. Ever. Literally. He is very artistic and sweet, and he plays an instument for a symphony orchestra. I began to have a big crush on him. About a week ago, we were both at one of the theatre group's parties, and I was sort of lightly, playfully and friend-ily flirting but not in an "I must have you now!" kind of way. He was acting quite awkward and nervous.

The next day, the head of the theatre group told me that he fancied me! (He thought I was about 19 or 20 so he is NOT a pedophile). About a week later, we were all at dance class together and we was not awkward or shy at all. Now I'm worried that he doesn't like me anymore! And since the dance class, I've become more and more obsessed with him.

I'm dying to tell him how I feel, but I'm too shy to say anything. What should I do?!?!??!!?!?

You're 12 and believe me..your age definitely reflects this post. You met this guy three weeks ago and you think you love him already. If he even considered taking things any further, he would certainly be a pedophile. Move onto to soneone your own age. Once you grow up a bit you'll realize you weren't as grown or mature at the age of 12 like you thought. With age comes wisdom and other things. You guys are at completely different points in your lives!

Yea I would suggest to just forget about any feelings you think you have for him and move on. How do you feel like your 20? You have never been 20 so you wouldn't know what that feels like same with acting like your 18. Even giving yourself ages like that is annoying haha sorry. I knew I was mature for my age at a young age but I didn't go around saying that kind of crap. I just hate when anyone even says they are mature for their age. Besides maturity doesn't matter when it comes to dating. The age of your brain and body, what stage of life you are in, the law, these are things that matter. I find it funny that even you yourself added that he thought you were 19 or 20 so he isn't a pedo which is basically saying if he knew your real age even you would consider him a pedo for liking a 12 year old.

See now if you were 25 and he was 38 I would say that is fine if that is what both of you wanted. As age difference doesn't matter once you have reached mature brain and body age and have finally reached the stage in your life where you know what you want in life and are done or close to being done with education and starting in your career or have a good job and can settle down with someone, legally have sex, get married, move in with someone, start a family, and all that jazz.

I know you say boys your age are immature. But if you are mature enough you will just wait to start dating. Enjoy life now and hanging out with your friends and stuff. I didn't have my first boyfriend till I was 17 as I knew having a boyfriend when I was younger was just pointless really.
