So I just got back from playing Dungeons and Dragons (google it if you have to) with my boyfriend and a group of our friends. My boyfriend was walking me to the door. As we got to the top of the stairs, I put my arms around him and leaned into kiss him. Now this wasn't just OUR first kiss, it was also MY first kiss ever. And it was.... eh. His lips didnt really cover mine very well and it was a bit wet and clammy on his part. (it was a closed mouth kiss. I'm pretty sure those aren't suppose to be wet.) It was only about a 2 second kiss. After that kiss all i could think was Well maybe the first kiss is never the best. So i moved in for another while we were still close. This one was about the same. Still not great. Then he moved in for a 3rd. Nope, still not good. Please keep in mind these were all short kisses. We weren't making out or anything. We are texting about it now. I told him i just expected it to be different, feel different. i just didn't get butterflies.

My heart picked up a bit, but only for the excitement of the kiss, not the kiss. Honestly, kissing him didn't make me feel any different from when I wasn't kissing him. I'm not dissappointed in him, I'm dissapointed in the kiss. Are all first kisses this bad?

My first kiss was kind of like that too. I was really disapointed afterwards because i guess i expected fireworks. But i think most of them are. Experiance is a big factor when kissing. Lol.

Honey, if your boyfriend plays Dungeons and Dragons, that's why he's not a good kisser   lmao !! Just kidding, but honestly mine was awful too. I really hated it, it was gross and wet.. Like you said... closed mouth kisses should NOT be that slobbery! It was honestly pretty gross, but they get better! Probably just nerves.

Yea  trust me first kisses are generally not like the movies or the books haha. Normally no butterflies or fireworks. It is really like anything else in life where practice makes perfect. Even if your boyfriend has kissed before it doesn't mean he has done it a lot or it doesn't mean he was ever a good kisser. It also could be nerves since it was the first time with you or otherwise he just wasn't ready for it since you went in for the first kiss. You also may just have been let down since you were expecting more etc.

My first kiss I got nervous and moved a bit when he went to kiss me so it ended up being like off center and it was so short probably a second and I can barely even remember anything else then he got mad that he "missed" but I said it was fine and it was my fault for being nervous and moving a bit haha. 

Hell my boyfriend and I have been dating for over 3 years now and we probably still aren't the best of kissers. He can still be too pushy and they can get really wet like slobbery gross lol. In a way I don't mind it when they do as it is just fun but sometimes I have to remind him when he is being to pushy etc.
