I have had a crush on my ex boyfriend for ages now ( we were on again off again for a year and broke up a year ago) I've totally thought of the brutal possibilities that it might fail again but I'm willing to risk it. I told my best friend that I'm thinking of asking him out and she made a big deal out if it giving me advice ect. She asked me of I minded if she talked to him a little bit about me to 'test the water' on msn, I said fine since I trusted my friend not to mess it all up, only I think she did. She got a bit carried away and started asking him out for me and confronting him about it, he stopped answering even though it says he's viewed them all. He hasn't spoken to me yet and it's really awkward now!! What can I do to save the situation so I actually can ask him out? I'd appreciate it xxx

Hey Kat28
I have a few questions for you. How old are you? How old is the guy you like? How old is your friend?
I feel like these things are important to know, so it's easier to determine whether or not you should pursue the relationship,or leave it go. From what I've read, I feel like you should let this relationship with your ex go. I know you said you would risk it all for him, but if he was interested, he would have approached you, or at least answered the questions your friend posed to him. Move on honey! Just have fun with your friends, and look for someone new.
As for your friend or "bff" I feel like she was trying to be a good friend. She may have got carried away, but she was only being a good friend to you! And friends are way better to have than a silly boy. Tell her that it upset you the way she acted, but understand she was only looking out for your well being.
Hope that helped
