Hi, I had unprotected sex on the 5th of January 2013 and was due for my period on the 15 of January, but on the 12th, I experienced a clear discharge with a brown tinge for about 4 days. It wasn't enough to fill a tampon, and on the third day I forgot to put in a tampon and no spotting or anything was found in my underwear or when I used the restroom. I now have a clear, almost watery discharge and have been having sever diarrhea. What could be the cause?

well i dont think you should be getting too worried yet. the diareha must be from something else because my sister has been pregnant twice and she doesnt start having morning sickness until she is three monthes in. secondly the brown discharge could just be from your period. and the watery discharge should be from your period too. i know your worried about being pregnant because you had unprotected sex but i think your mind is just messing with you because your so worried. if your really worried though you might want to take a pregnancy test just to ease your mind.

Take a pregnancy test. The spotting you experienced could be implantation bleeding. 

The diarrhea is probably unrelated, but make sure to keep hydrated.

I'm definitely going to take one, but I figure it might be too early. I did make an appointment to see my doctor this Thursday. Thank you for your response!

If you expected your period on the 15th, you're 5 days late already. It's not too early to take a test.
