What was your first job good or bad?

Well i haven't done my first job yet but i amsoon i hope!! my mothers friend is going to start a restaurant and she said i could wash the dishes and sweep up and just clean up around!! and im only 11 years old so that is a good way to start she said she'll pay me!  so     finelly i can buy myself new cloths in the new shopping center that opend in November 2012!! great!! and ill finelly be  a woman i'm still a lady!! so im quite exited!!

My first official job where I had to file taxes was at my university. I was a mentor to new students in case they needed help adjusting to being at a new school. It was good the first semester then the second semester my supervisors changed then everything went downhill with the job until I decided to resign. Before that, I had babysat a lot. Which was fun.

Technically my first job was sweeping hair at my uncles barbers when I was 15 x but when I turned 16 my first payroll job was at a shoe shop and I loved it! x

My first job was at a place like Chuck E Cheese's (like a game arcade). It was awesome. I stayed there for a little over a year.

Mine was awful. I worked there for 2 years and got treated like garbage. The good part of it was that they were really good with dealing with my school schduele.

My first job will start at 1 month and it will be working with horses,I will be helping at my equestrian centre with the tourists and taking care of the horses!Im so happy!

My first job was a grocery store cashier and overall I can't say it was great. It was nice because they'll work around just about any schedule and I had a crazy schedule back then. I was allowed to work 4 hour shifts 5x/week because I had to look after my son. But at the same time the work itself is awful. You have to memorize literally hundreds of PLU codes and remember them. People are always yelling and blaming you for everything. The store decides to switch shelves around and you get blamed. The newspaper printed a coupon incorrectly and you get yelled at when you have to tell someone that they can't use it. The store stocks products that are bad and you get yelled at when someone comes back to return it. The cash system they used was really complicated and annoying. All for minimum wage ($7/hour here at the time). I only lasted for six months before I quit. I don't know how people do that **bleep** for so long. People are so rude and it's so crazy.

I have to say my first job was being a petsitter and babysitter. It had it's down moments in which the children were a bit too much too handle and I nearly broke all the rules the parent's gave me just to put them to bed but I never did. Then there were those adorable children that you admired and wished your children would be just like them, aha. And with my petsitting, since I'm naturally an animal person, I had no problem when it came to them and I usually charged $11 a hour and an additional 50 cent for an additional child and the same went for the pets. I made a good profit. But then I moved to a neighborhood where the children and the parents aren't so popular...
