Hey guys. A few days ago, my boyfriend and I were getting all heated up in his room, and since we didn't have a condom, we decided to try anal sex for the first time, and he came inside me...what kind of potential harm does this pose? I know I should have learned about this beforehand, but I just need to know if I should worry about getting some sort of infection. Please help! Thank you. ♥

If both of you are free of STIs you are PERFECTLY SAFE.
The whole "tearing your anal lining" junk is bull. It's POSSIBLE, but you would just have microtears and that's why it's easier to contract an STI through anal. But if both of you are STI free there is nothing wrong at all with having unprotected anal sex. You have pretty much 0% chance of becoming pregnant from it (unless his cum drips out of you, and somehow lands inside your vag. Tricky to have happen, but it's possible, lol.
It can pose a problem if you have anal and then switch to vaginal sex without cleaning his dick off first, but you won't get a bloody STI from it, lmfao. You'd probably get a bad yeast infection, if anything.
From what I've read, you're probably totally fine, so long as neither of you have an STI.
