I thought when an uncircumcised guy got hard the foreskin gets pulled back on its own as the penis gets harder but I am hearing on gURL and on other websites that you sometimes need to pull it back for them. 

Is that true or do you only have to pull it back only for certain guys, like if they have a really long foreskin?

I'm pretty sure you don't need to pull it back yourself, as in most cases it slides behind on its own, the way nature intended.

I have seen those educational erection videos and the foreskin pulls back on its own, but then you hear on sex ed sites about guys having trouble with it retracting on its own.  I am sure if I was with a guy and it needed to be pulled back he would hopefully say something.

It does pull back but with some guys not all the way. You want the whole head and the underside of the head free if you're going to give head or whatever. When it doesn't go all the way down by itself you can pull it down.

You can give a hj moving the foreskin or rubbing the head directly with some lube. I mean it's really gonna depend on the guy what he likes and doesn't. So you'll have to play around with them and experiment

make sure u can pull the foreskin all the way back.
