RE: OT: Dents in hips

If you're worried about swimsuit season, just get the right swim suit. I have that to, although I am a but more curvy it is the same. What I do when it comes to summer is get the right bikini bottoms, I swear I have 15 pairs of the same bottoms in different colors so they can match any top I buy. The bottoms I get have thick sides so they can camouflage the indents also monokini's work quite well and they are really quite sexy to! Best of luck!

I have that! Hahaha it forces me to wear bathing suit bottoms that sit low so that my love handles aren't accentuated. It is a little weird! When it comes to jeans I have to get ones that sit pretty high because of that too!

omg! I've never met anyone else who had that problem...yep. I've got hips like that. it is SO annoying in dresses that are kinda tight because my body just doesn't look good with it. I hate it so much! haha

Yeah I know, my best looking jeans and underwear sit higher and it's a tad annoying o.o I'm not really sure which bottoms will look best because I haven't been swimming in a loooong time... hmm, maybe I'll give low ones a try, but I was thinking ones with more coverage would help my hips look more proportionate. Eh, to each her own 'cause we all have different bodies :smileyhappy:

Exactly! Tight dresses and pencil skirts are my biggest peeves with these silly hips.

RE: OT: Dents in hips

I MAY be wrong here, but as far as I know the part that goes out on your hips is the sides of your pelvic bones. Which I think is a good thing for when you're pregnant anyway, because the further the sides are apart from eachother, the more space the baby has to lye out, which also means you have a smaller bump. One of my teachers was telling me something like that. But that may not be what those dents are. It looks like it though! And I agree I think thats actually really pretty!

RE: OT: Dents in hips

I have that too. Now I think it's because I've gained some weight over the years and it all went to my hips and thighs, but I seem to remember always being shaped this way whatever my weight. I think I've always attributed it to the elastic waist bands on my clothes. But I've also definitely seen it on a lot of girls, so you certainly aren't alone! And honestly I don't think people even notice. We're so much more aware of our bodies than anyone else is. I tend to sweat a lot, so I often have patches under my arms. It's makes me really self conscious and I work hard to keep people from noticing and it took like 3 months into a relationship before my bf even noticed it, and he's been known me for a couple years and had been outright checking me out for months. Plus I know I often notice things that I know other people find embarrassing, but I don't think any less of them or even notice beyond a passing recognition, even on people I'm crushing on. So that was kinda ranty :smileytongue: But my point is that you aren't a freak or anything and it's probably just the way your body is shaped (like bone structure or fat distribution), many many girls are shaped that way, and that strange though it may seem to you I sincerely doubt anybody would ever notice or fault you for it :smileyhappy:Edit: Also I looked at the links for the bathing suits, and the second one is super adorable!
