So this may not be the right forum to put this in, but it's somewhat relevant. I'm 14, never had a boyfriend, and I have nightmares that I'm pregnant. Worse, I always lose the baby in the end. I'm not sure why this happens and the baby always ends up lost in different ways. Has anyone had similar dreams? It's starting to bother me during the day and there's no one I know who I can really talk to because most of my friends are guys and they would think I was nuts.

Sounds like there's something going on that you're not dealing with.
Now, I'm not the kind of person who subscribes to "dream reading" like Freud, but I'll say that recurring dreams are probably related to some issue that you're not resolving. Since you've never had a boyfriend, I can't imagine you're dealing with something literal here since you've never even been in a situation that could possibly result in a miscarriage. Unless the thought of a miscarriage is a really deep-rooted fear of yours.
Which brings us to a metaphor. What's going on in your life that is causing you this much stress? I would especially think about the situations and/or relationships where you experience a lot of feeling helpless or hopeless. I could be completely off base here, but the theme of your dream seems to revolve around the baby--which could represent a relationship or achieving something incredibly important to you--and then losing it to situations outside of your control (thus the helplessness or hopelessness).
You can either respond here or private message me if it's something you're not comfortable sharing, but I'm definitely willing to work through this with you.

I get really stressed out fairly easily and I scare easily because of things that've happened in my family and my old school, but I don't think the stress is causing it. I'm not afraid of miscarriage, but I'm scared that whenever I try having kids later in live I won't be able to have them. The closest I can come to thinking I'm losing something is that my two best friends are brother and sister and constantly reject each other... The brother wants to have a good relationship with his sister, but practicially everything he does to try and build a relationship with her is shot down. He recruited me to help him, but I'm so scared that one day I'll be forced to choose between one of them.

Do you have any sort of medical condition that would prevent you from having kids? Or did your mom or grandmother have a history of multiple miscarriages?

I wouldn't get into the family drama there. You can obviously be friends with both, but you really shouldn't put yourself in the position of helping one to have a relationship with the other. More than likely, that will make you have a strained relationship with both of them.

dream interpretation is quite simple. it doesnt require books. its all symbolism.
I think this means being afraid of dashed experctations. Is there something big you are looking forward to? sounds like you are very intimidated

I've been kind of worried there's something wrong with me because as long as I've been getting my period, it's been 3-4 days long. It's gradually been getting shorter and last time it barely lasted 2 days. I can't remember if the dreams started around the time it started getting shorter so I'm not sure if they're related. As for dashed expectations, I really have none. I'm a good student in school and always do my best. I'm only a freshman, but I'm planning for the future. When I graduate, I either want to finish early or finish as valedictorian. Also I want to join NHS as a junior.
