If you want to gain weight, putting unnecessary hormones in your body in hopes that you get a side effect isn't the way to do it. There's no guarantee that using birth control pills will cause you to gain weight. 

Gaining weight means you need to consume more calories than you use. Exercise less, eat more. Pretty simple math.
