well im 14, and a freshman in highschool. everyone in my grade at least has a b cup. and Im just a flat chested twig.. i mean, it never really has bugged me before.. but i just get so insecure when guys wanna hang out, going to the beach, or even changing in PE.. i just hate it. so much. And i cant even wear some of the shirts i have because i feel like people will make fun of me & my flat chest.... which they have before.. my mom is about a C cup, but i asked her when she started getting Boobs, and she said when she was 13.. i really need to know why my body hasnt even hit puberty yet.. i have grown about a inch and a half in the last 3 months.. is it a start? and will i get boobs? Plus on top of it im about 92 pounds, and I eat a ton! like the most out of my friends.. gah can someone just help?!

You're still young, there are still plenty more years for your boobs to grow. You're height increase is definitely a sign that your body is continuing to grow, puberty for some women doesn't even complete until after high school.

Are your breasts ever sore? They could be growing.

Or in a few more years they could just be the same. Some girls have small breasts and there is nothing wrong with that. My sister is very slim and has A cup breasts, and she looks fantastic and I'm jealous of her bikini body. Even though my mom and my two older sisters are both A cup, I'm a C cup, so even within your own family breast size can vary.

And you said you haven't hit puberty yet...have you had your period yet?

Don't stress out about it. Take a look around, women's breasts come in all sizes. Don't worry if yours seem smaller than your friends, if anyone makes fun of you then they are idiots. Brush it off, people will say stupid stuff about anything, no matter what you look like.

A lot of girls don't go through puberty until 14-16 still. Just because you hear lots of stories about 8-11 year olds going through it doesn't mean that's the norm or everyone does.

Breast size is largely genetic, so if your mother/aunt/grandmothers/etc all have larger breasts it's likely you will as well. The fact you haven't gone through puberty yet is a very good sign as well. If you had started puberty and were *still* small-cupped than that would probably mean that's how you'd stay.

As hard as it is, have patience. And find the positives in every body type you have. Your body is going to continue to change throughout the rest of your life. You may miss this light and lean form once puberty hits. :-)
