My body is out of proportion:(

I am 14 years old and i am a size 10/12, i am 5ft 7/8 but feel like i am so fat:/ My arms are really big at my bicep and tricep because i'm a gymnast and dancer and ive got really big theighs as well and i hate them:smileysad: i really want a flat stomach aswell:smileysad: If somebody can give me any tips how to lose weight and get skinny then please comment back:smileysad:

Well I know that you want to lose weight, so if you really feel strongly about this, you should definitely ask your mom /dad /guardian to make an appointment with your doc - Way too many girls I know freak over their weight and go on crazy crash diets or drink those "cleanses" to get thin, and its really awful to watch them chew themselves apart with nitpicking criticism. Honestly, you are a gymnast AND a dancer, so A) I am nearly positive that your thighs should'nt be super tiny because of the leg muscle you should have from those sports, and B) I've never met a dancer or gymnast, let alone BOTH, who was unhealthy. Having a little curve to you isn't bad and doesn't make you any less amazing than your fellow athletes, or anyone for that matter! So honestly you sound physically fit to me, but if you really want to do something, be safe and talk to your doc or parents. They'll help and make sure you are safe when pursuing weight loss (I.e. not developing eating disorders, malnutrition, ect.), unlike some article that pops up on a Google search. Btw, that's really cool that you do two really competitive sports!

You're 14 years old so your body is changing. At 5'7" a size 10 doesn't make you fat at all. Your hobbies are things that make your legs and arms larger than girls who aren't gymnasts/dancers, but it's not fat, it's muscle. No amount of losing weight will really change that. If you're serious about being a gymanst or a dancer, I think you should pay attention to what you eat and start eating healthier foods, but I don't think weight loss is going to solve what you're most unhappy with.

Make sure to do more cardio. Gymnastics builds bulky muscles so u need to do cardio to slim them down and to get rid of any fat you need to do cardio which means walking, jogging, running, swimming, roller blading, elliptical, stepper, stairmill, biking etc.
