I want to lose weight but I want to do it the healthy way. I don't want to starve myself or binge or anything harmful to my body, I just want to shed a few extra holiday pounds. If anyone has any ideas please let me know![]()

Count calories and carbs. It's easy and effective. There are websites and apps that can even do all the work for you. I have a mobile app called MyFittnessPal that counts calories. You literally enter in your weight, the weight you want to be, and it gives you a "limit" of calories you can consume a day. Then enter unit what you eat and it adds up the calories for you. I went on a diet last year and lost 10 pound sic by consuming 120calories and no more hat 50 carbs a day. And of course I did plenty of cardio. Trust me, it's nt that bad. Eat things like tomatoes, tuna fish, turkey, lean pork.. There's lots of low carb foods that aren't just bland salads. Good luck ![]()

Find hobbies you enjoy that keep you fit! Swimming (indoors if it's cold), biking, yoga. It's also helpful if you go to a studio or gym with scheduled classes so that you get into a routine. A lot of the fitness trends are really fun like barre and spinning. So my advice? Find something fun that you'll enjoy adopting into your life and want to keep around for more than just the health benefits.

Buy lots of fruits and vegitables.
Figure out which things have lots of calories so you know what to avoid, like ice cream has lots of calories, so I avoid that.
