ive been on my birth control for 5 months now, and it never affected me in anyway. no stomach aches or leg pains or anything. then last month, i was on this antibiotic. i started the antibiotic on the inactive pills(the ones your taking when you have your period) and the antibiotic didnt bother me until the first day of my new pack of BC pills. i had horrible stomach pains and threw up until my stomach was empty. i figured maybe the active BC pills didnt mix right with the antibiotic. 

Then yesterday, the first night of my new pack, (quit the antiobiotics the last month, right after being sick) and early this mornig, around the same time as last month, i had really bad stomach pains and threw up. is this just coincidence? or is the first pill of these last two packs bothering me for some reason? it was only that one day last month, so hopefully itll just be tht one day this month. it just really didnt seem like i was sick from food so im kinda worried what it is thts bothering me, and i felt better after throwing up and sleeping so i have no fever or flu or nothing like tht.

It's probably just the antibiotic and birth control together that is making you sick. Sometimes your body changes though and your pills start effecting you differently. I was on a pill for maybe 4 or 5 months and was fine and suddenly started getting migraines from it. I would mention it to your gynecologist the next time you go, or if you continue to vomit I would make an appointment ASAP and talk to your doctor.

I believe antibiotics render birth control pills ineffective! 

Use another form of protection while you're on antibiotics.
