OK, so I have this best guy friend and we used to hang out with the same people so that's how we met. We tried a relationship but it only lasted a month because I made a really stupid decision and I have regretted it since. About 2 or 3 months after the break up I decided to contact him again but to stay just friends and then we just got closer and closer until I could tell him anything. This all happened a little over a year ago.
About 8 months ago or so I admitted to myself that I had feelings for him again and 1 month after that I was finally ready to tell him BUT then he got a girlfriend and I didn't want to put him in that place. So he was together for about 5 months with that girl and all that time I was always there for him and still hiding my feelings. When they broke up he started going out to clubs a lot more often and flirts with a lot of girls and I must admit that I'm a little jealous.
"So why don't you just tell him now?" you're probably asking yourself, well he got accepted into the national swim team, which basically means that he has hardcore training almost everyday and hardly has any time.
I just don't know what to do. I hoped that my feelings would go away but it has been 8 months and they still haven't faded. Every time I went out with a guy I couldn't help but think of my best friend. Should I tell him even if the chances of a relationship are very slim?
