Sooo I finally worked up the courage to tell my guy friend that I like him. Unfortunately I had to do it over facebook messaging. I just left it for him, plain and simple.

The End. 

And that's it. He saw it this morning (Facebook is now creepier than ever and it said he saw it at 6:00 AM) I haven't heard a peep out of him. He's been on facebook, he just posted a status!

CRAP WHAT DO I DO?!

I'm in panic mode right now because I really don't want to lose him as a friend. 

I know (he thinks) a girl has never liked him before so I know he wouldn't know what to do but still...

anything would be better at nothing at this point. What do I do?

How does he feel about you? 

I would give him some time to think about him and let it all sink in. Let him come to you and talk to you. I would certainly be patient especially since he doesn't have any experience in dating. High five for telling him how you feel. You deserve a huge star and a hug. If he doesn't tell you he likes you back or doesn't respond don't bug him but let him know that you have true feelings. If he doesn't respond in a couple days (a day or so), write a message saying that you really like him and explain to him that it hurts your feelings that he didn't respond back. Or come talk to you. 

If he likes you back, I know he will be happy about the whole thing.

Wow! I hadn't read your earlier post, but I must applaud you for doing what most single girls everywhere (including me!) don't have the courage to do! You told him, you did it! 

He probably needs time first of all, maybe wondering why you chose that time to tell him. 

When will you see him next? Just go up and talk to him like nothings wrong, and you're still good friends!

So much love for this story though! If it doesn't turn out okay, at least you know you've done something, and might give you the confidence to put yourself forward for someone else (positive thinking here!)
