Is it werid to get a sex toy when I'm still a virgin?

Here's the deal. When I was 12 I got diagnosed with a blood clot in my brain. I'm retty much in constant pain and had to be taken out of school. I don't really meet that many people (kind of hard to for me). I'm 18 and I masturbate like any normal person. i'm asking this question not because I'd ever be ashamed of it. Even though I grew up in a "Christian" family, I don't have the same ideals of what makes a decent human being. I just want to know if it's weird to get a sex toy when I actually haven't had sex with a real man because I don't want to spoil it. I want to be able to climax during actual sex and not only become acustomed to toys. I'd love some opinions and advice. thank you :)

I don't think it's weird, I haven't had sex but from what I've heard a toy is totally not the same and won't spoil the feeling. I think it's good to know what hits the right buttons before you have sex so it's more enjoyable for you, and a toy might help.?

One problem with sex toys is that you Will not only brake your Hyman but Will also starch out your Virginia, have you not orgasmed by stimulating your clit? But overall there is nothing wrong with using sex toys while still a virgin.

Sex toys are fine. Women use them all the time. Women with boyfriends use them all the time. Masturbating with or without toys helps us become more familiar with our bodies and what feels good so we can enjoy sex better when the time comes.

I'm sorry about the brain blood clot and chronic pain. That's got to be harsh! There might be a way out of it. There's a recent book by Norman Doidge, M.D. titled The Brain's Way of Healing: Remarkable Discoveries and Recoveries from the Frontiers of Neuroplasticity. Chapter 1 of this book gives a new explanation of pain, and how we can unwire the pain in our brain so we are pain free, and it tells a couple of stories of people who did this. I recommend this book and read chapter 1.

There's also a university professor website dedicated to curing chronic pain which explains the same thing: http://hansmalab.physics.ucsb.edu/

Best wishes!

(Don't worry! Many Christians are liberal and believe like you that sex is normal. It's also healthy for us, at least according to Cosmopolitan magazine, though I don't admit to reading it!)

Not weird at all, a sex toy will never compare with real sex so the experience will always be different.

Thank you to everyone who replied. They were all helpful and I appreciated every response.?

Ummm? using a toy may help you better ackommodate a real penis withut the pain of penetration.

Using a normal sized dildo or vibrator isn't going to stretch anyhting out....not permanently.

hmm i know about sex toys just new. and that is penetrate to my anal while my vagina penetrate by penis... like weird but enjoying so

I think not, for example I've watch a lot of porn on?http://www.porneo.com/ when I was virgin

You can break your hymen many other ways other than inserting things into your vagina. The presents or lack of a Hyman is a poor way to determine if a female is a virgin or not. Using a sex you isn't going to stretch you out, at least not enough for a guy to tell you've been using one. If you tell him you're a virgin he should believe you, whether you have your hymen or not?
