Choosing to be a PSW after training in a healthcare institute. Is it gong to give a career growth?

My sister insists that she needs to practice and be a certified Personal Support worker after attending proper regulated training from an established healthcare training institute. When I checked online for more details regarding such institutes and course and I came up with few topics they cover:
1. PSW Foundations?
2. Safety and Mobility
3. Body Systems
4. Assisting with personal hygiene
5. Household management, nutrition, and Hydration. etc
But when seeing these, I doubt what she has to perform actually. Is it like she is the personal maid.? Would she have any career growth? Please understand my query and support me on this.
