Toning up and exercise

Hi I have been working out right to train for lacrosse but I seem to be filling out. Like I have been filling our in my butt but I want to slim down and tone my thighs , stomach and slim down my face. Any suggestions plz. Like instead of me losing weight I'm gaining.

That's normal...if you haven't done regular workouts for a long time, and you start doing it...you will gain more muscle weight at first.? Keep at it, add plenty of cardio and core workouts, and you will start to burn the excess fat too.

Deffinetly cardio. I like to use resistance bands to use in toning up legs
