"A little." She aheugged. "There's not a lot of jobs where people would be comfortable with me as a superior."

"I think once you show people your work ethic they would respect you," Oliver told her.

(Chasing life!)

"I'm keeping my options open." Daphne said. "What about you. What do you want to do when you can walk again?"

"I want to get back with the veterans, work with them," Oliver said, "A lot of them just need a support system."

"You'd be great at helping them." Daphne said. "Especially ones like you."

"The ones like me? I'm one in a million," Oliver teased.

"Amputees." Daphne smirked. "You know what I meant."

"I know, I was just messing with you," He said as he finished his lunch.

"Mess with the deaf girl, thats nice." She teased him.

"Don't pull that card," Oliver teased back.

"I play the cards I've been dealt." She teased.

Oliver chuckled, "Nice comeback," He told her.

"You set me up for it." She pointed out.

"Now don't go giving me all the credit," He smirked.

"Fine, I take it back." She teased again.

"I hate to cut this short but I have therapy soon," Oliver told her as he looked at his watch.

"Okay. I'm on the schedule for tomorrow so I'll see you then?" She suggested.

"Yeah, I'll see you then," Oliver said with a smile before wheeling back down the hallway.

Daphne threw her trash away and went to leave the hospital.
