"I knew it." Rhys laughed before checking his phone for messages.
-
Everett moaned as he came with her. He rolled off her and tried to catch his breath.
-
"I think there's a market a few blocks up." Dominic said. He liked that everything was within walking distance.

Claire tidied up the kitchen a bit before looking to him, "Anything important?" She asked.
-
Callie closed her eyes as she tried to catch her breath, she looked over at Everett with a smile, "That was..." She said, speechless.
-
"Yeah, I saw it yesterday on our way to Central Park," Emma said.

"No more than usual." Rhys said as he skimmed through the emails.
-
"Intense?" Everett laughed, still out of breath. "we haven't gone like that in a long time."
-
"I had an idea yesterday but I'm a little afraid you'll get mad at me for even suggesting it." Dominic said reluctantly.

Claire nodded as she took a sip of her drink before putting her cup in the sink.
-
"It was fantastic," Callie chuckled.
-
"What is it?" Emma asked him.

"looks like I'll be in meetings the whole time you're gone." Rhys said.
-
"You're amazing." Everett smiled and leaned over to kiss her softly.
-
"I thought we could work on getting Lennox registered as a service dog for you." Dominic said. "Even if we can only get him on emotional support, he could go anywhere with you and it would give me some peace of mind."

"Good, keep you from missing me too much," Claire teased.
-
"I love you," Callie smiled against his lips.
-
Emma thought about it for a moment, not thinking that it was the worst idea, "Dom that's really sweet of you to think of but I already get enough attention as it is with my arm, I'll just get more stares with a service dog."

"I guess it'll numb the pain." Rhys teased her.
-
"I love you too." Everett smiled as he kissed her. "We should renew our vows for our anniversary...if you want to."
--
"Don't take this the wrong way but you need to deal with how much that bothers you." Dominic said softly. "I know you can take care of yourself but for someone who wants to mug you or worse, they'll think you're an easy target but they might?think twice if you have Lennox with you- thats the only reason I want this."

Callie couldn't help but laugh, "Whatever will get you through two days,"?
-
"I think that's a wonderful idea," Callie smiled softly before looking in his eyes.
-
Emma closed her eyes, she was getting frustrated and didn't want to start an argument in the middle of a restaurant, "Just drop it." She told him.?

"I thought you'd be more flattered by how much I'll miss you." Rhys said
-
"We could have a little ceremony and spend the weekend away. I'm sure my parents would take the kids again." Everett said. He wanted her to know how committed he was to fixing their relationship.
-
Dominic sighed and looked away. It was useless trying to talk to her when she never listened.

"I'm definitely flattered," Claire told him, "I didn't think you liked me that much," She teased.
-
"I love that idea," Callie grinned before kissing him softly.
-
Emma stayed silent, thanking the waitress when she brought out their food.

"I like you very much." Rhys smiled at her
-
Everett smiled as he kissed her back.
-
Dominic started eating his meal without saying anything.

"Happy to hear that," Claire said with a smile as she leaned on the counter towards him.
--
Callie pulled away to lay her head on his chest, she brought the covers over them.
--
Emma ate some of her breakfast, really losing her appetite, "If you are so worried about me why did you push me to take this internship? I had plenty of offers back home," She said.

"You ever doubted me?" Rhys laughed and put his arms around her.
-
"Can't believe we didn't wake Sage." He laughed
-
"You wanted this too." Dominic pointed out. "I still think its a great opportunity, I just wish you would prioritize your safety as much as I do."

"No, never," Claire said with a playful smirk as she leaned into him.
--
"She sleeps like a rock thankfully," Callie chuckled.
--
"I know I wanted it and I am concerned for myself too, but you're acting like I'm already a victim," Emma told him.

"You'd be wrong if you did." Rhys smiled at her
-
"Lets hope it lasts." Everett laughed.
--
"I just want to take precautions." Dominic said with a shrug.

"I'm hardly ever wrong," Claire smirked.
--
"I guess we'll see," Callie said.
--
"I understand that, but you treat me like you would treat your daughter sometimes not your girlfriend," Emma pointed out.

"You're not always right though." Rhys teased her
-
"We can hire on a night nurse if she doesn't." Everett joked as he adjusted his arm around her.
-
"So I'm protective of you. I don't think thats a bad thing." Dominic said.

"I said hardly ever wrong," Claire teased back.
--
"A nanny, a night nurse, did we win the lottery?" Callie asked with a chuckle.
--
Emma just shook her head as she pushed her plate away, she wasn't hungry anymore.

"Hardly ever right." Rhys teased her
-
"They can be all the same person." Everett pointed out
-
"Don't be like this." Dominic sighed. "I don't want to fight again."

"Now that's a lie," Claire told him with a chuckle.
--
"Oh, that sounds like a plan you're concocting," Callie teased.
--
"I'm not fighting, I'm just not really hungry anymore," Emma shrugged.

"I'm not a liar." Rhys grinned at her
-
"Its a work in progress." Everett chuckled.
-
"Still want to go to the market?" Dominic asked, unsure of her mood.

"But that wasn't the truth," Claire smirked.
--
"You keep me updated on that," Callie laughed.
--
"Yeah, you said we need juice," Emma told him.

"I think it was." Rhys smirked and pecked her lips.
--
"I'll need your input." Everett teased.
-
"We should get more than that. We don't have much food at the apartment." Dominic pointed out.

"Nope, you're wrong," Claire teased against his lips.
--
"Of course," Callie chuckled.
--
"We didn't make a list," Emma pointed out, she always liked grocery shopping with a list.

"I'm never wrong." Rhys mumbled back
-
"Do you want to meet the nanny canidates with me next week?" Everett asked
-
"We can make one now." Dominic said, pulling out his phone.

"Says you," Claire said as she pulled back a bit to look at him with a chuckle.
--
"I already told you I would," Callie reminded him.
--
"Okay," Emma said as she thought of what they needed.

"Thats all the say so you need." Rhys smirked at her.
--
"I wanted to double check." Everett said.
-
"We need breakfast food." Dominic said and made a list on his phone.

"I beg to differ," Claire smirked back.
--
"I;m not going to change my mind," Callie told him.
--
"I need stuff to make for lunch this week," Emma told him.

"You're supposed to believe your husband." Rhys teased
-
"Just checking." Everett said and kissed her head.
-
"What else?" Dominic asked as he worked on the list.

"Not if he's wrong," Claire teased back.
--
Callie got comfortable against him before closing her eyes.
--
"What do you want for dinner this week?" Emma asked.

"Especially if he's wrong." Rhys chuckled.
-
"Get some rest." Everett said softly and shut his eyes
-
"We should go out to dinner a few times." Dominic suggested. "There's?a million places to eat around here."

"I don't think that's how it works," Claire told him.
--
Callie fell asleep against Everett's chest rather quickly.
--
"We don't need to go out to eat every night though," Emma said.

"Yes it is." Rhys smirked and pecked her lips
-
Everett fell asleep with Callie and only woke when the baby started crying. He rubbed his eyes and checked the clock to see it was 2 am before pulling himself out of bed to tend to Sage.
--
"We can though." Dominic teased her.

"Look at that you're wrong again," Claire teased before pecking his lips back.
--
Callie rolled over, not even hearing the baby cry.
--
"Are you trying to make me fat?" Emma asked him.

"I've never been wrong." Rhys smirked again.
-
Everett changed Sage's diaper before making a bottle. He tiredly sat in the rocking chair as he fed her and waited for her to fall back asleep.
--
"A little." Dominic teased her.
