"Why not? Are you worried someone else will want me?" Rhys teased her.
-
"I'll put her to bed." Everett nodded before going upstairs to change Sage and put her?in the crib.

"I think that's already the case babe," Claire chuckled, "Remember you're number 17 on the 30 under 30."
-
Callie finished up in the kitchen and turned off the lights before heading to the living room.

"Everybody wants a piece of this." Rhys smirked.
-
Everett got the baby asleep and went to find Callie. "Want to talk?"

"You're full of yourself," Claire smirked.
-
"Yeah," Callie said, "I think we need to tell your parents the truth, all of it."

"A little." Rhys teased and drank his water.
-
"What about your parents?" Everett asked. He knew they'd hate him.

Claire rolled her eyes with a chuckle as their food was brought out to them, "Thank you," She told the waitress.
-
Callie shrugged, "I want to tell them everything but I don't want to deal with that forever, holidays, get togethers, all of it," She said.

"I forgot how good their food is." Rhys said before taking a bite.
-
"Maybe we should tell everyone what we tell the kids." Everett suggested.

"You got a burger..." Claire said.
-
"I just hate lying," Calis said to him.

"A delicious burger." Rhys said with a mouthful of food.
-
"We can tell everyone the truth." Everett offered.

"Burgers are the same everywhere," Claire said as she took a bite of her lunch.
-
Callie shook her head as she thought about it, "'My parents are going to hate you," She said softly.

"You don't get burgers often do you?" Rhys smirked.
-
"They might forgive me...if you do." Everett pointed out.

"You watched me devour plenty of bacon cheeseburgers on our trip," Claire reminded him.
-
"Do you even know my mother," Callie asked.

"They were all from the same place." He pointed out.
-
"Yeah, she hates me already." Everett smirked.

(off to bed)

"Still, I think a burger is a burger," She shrugged.
-
Callie just gave him a look before letting out a sigh, "We can sit and tell them on Sunday when we pick up the kids," She said, mentioning his parents, "As for mine, maybe it's a good thing they live out of state."

"You haven't had the best burgers in the world" Rhys smirked.
-
"How do we tell mine without the kids being around?" Rhys asked her.

(i only have time for this?one post tonight =P sorry)

"I doubt that's here," Claire said as she took a bite of her salad.
-
"We'll have them go outside or something," Callie shrugged, "Maybe we can see if they can bring them back her Sunday instead of us picking them up."

"No but these are pretty good." He pointed out.
-
"I'll call them Sunday morning." Everett nodded.

"Well I'm glad you're enjoying your lunch as much as I am enjoying mine," Claire chuckled.
--
Callie just nodded as she got comfortable on the couch.

"Me too. This was the best lunch break I've ever had." Rhys smirked at her.
-
"I'm sorry about all this." Everett sighed, leaning back on the couch.

"I'm sure it has been," Claire smirked back.
-
Callie leaned against him, "If Svetlana wouldn't have come here and told me would you have kept it going?" She asked calmly, playing with the ends of her sweater.

"Especially at the office." He smirked.
--
"No." Everett said honestly. "I wanted to end it but then she told me she was pregnant...I didn't know how to leave her."

"It was alright," Claire teased with a shrug before taking a sip of her lemonade.
-
Callie just nodded, not really knowing what to say to that. She continued to play with the ends of her sweater.

"Just alright?" Rhys smirked at her.
-
"You're the love of my life you know?" Everett said as he put his hand over hers.

?Yep, pretty average,? Claire said back with a smirk, teasing again.
?
Callie leaned her head back against his chest, ?I love you,? She said softly, ?I don?t think I could stop.

(If you haven't heard it, go listen to 'Let's Hurt Tonight' by One Republic - it came on my Spotify the other day and it's totally Callie and Everett lol)

"You're killing my ego." Rhys smirked.
-
"Me either." Everett smiled softly and kissed her head.

(i'll go listen)

(Also, the question marks are still SO annoying)
"It may need to be deflated a bit," Claire teased.
-
Callie cuddled up against him, wrapping an arm around his middle as she brought her legs up on the couch.

(theyre never going away!)

"Why do you want to hurt me?" Rhys smirked.
-
"Maybe we should just load up the kids and move far, far away." Everett teased.

(that song is perfect for them!)

"It's kind of fun," Claire chuckled.
-
"If they were younger I'd say that's a fantastic idea," Callie chuckled.

"Not for me." Rhys laughed and took another bite of his burger.
-
"We're still young." Everett teased.

"I'm having a great time," She shrugged.
-
"No, I mean the if the kids were younger," Callie said.

"I'm sure you are." Rhys laughed.
-
"They're still young too." Everett pointed out.

Claire shrugged with a smirk as she sipped her lemonade.
-
Callie looked up, "Oliver is going to middle school next year, we can't take him away from home," She said.

"You're really a mean woman." Rhys teased.
-
"I know. Its nice to just pretend though isn't it?" Everett smirked and played with her hair.

"You like it," Claire chuckled.
-
"Can you believe we're going to have a middle schooler?" Callie closed her eyes, it felt like he was in diapers yesterday.

"I don't think so." He teased her.
-
"When did he grow up?" Everett shook his head. "He's getting an attitude."
