"We're getting there, I think," Emily said as Micah laughed and looked around on the floor. Emily laid on her stomach right in front of him. | |
Bodhi took his phone out to record the cute moment. "Come on Micah. Crawl like mommy." | |
Micah bounced on his hands and kicked his legs, "Come on buddy," Emily said. | |
The baby awkwardly scooted forward on his belly and Bodhi laughed in excitement. "Thats my boy!" | |
Emily grinned, "Oh my gosh!" She squealed, "Keep going!" She said as the baby bounced forward a bit. | |
"We've got a crawler." Bodhi laughed as the baby slowly crawled toward Emily. (I forgot about them!?but yeah, lets bring them back) | |
Emily clapped her hands excitedly as Micah continued to crawl towards her, "I'm so glad you were home today," She told Bodhi. | |
"Me too."? Bodhi smiled?and stopped recording the video. "I'd hate to miss this." | |
"Now I think we're in trouble if he's mobile," Emily teased with a laugh. | |
"We'll need to babyproof even more." He laughed. | |
"I know," Emily said as she sat up, "Baby gates galore," She laughed. | |
"We could keep him in his playpen more often." Bodhi countered. | |
"No, I don't want to keep him couped up like a dog," Emily said. | |
"He loves his playpen." Bodhi pointed out, | |
"I only like to use it when I absolutely have to," Emily told him, "Like when I need to shower or do a load of laundry and he's not napping." | |
"He can hang out in the playpen while daddy does his?surgeries." He teased and got on the floor so Micah could crawl to him. | |
"I'm sure he'd like that," Emily chuckled as she took Bodhi's phone and snapped a picture of the two of them. | |
"Of course he will. He's going to be a doctor just like his old man." He smirked and picked him up. | |
"Oh he is?" Emily asked with a raised eyebrow, "What if he wants to be a teacher like his mom?" | |
"He can teach med students." He teased. | |
"Fair enough," Emily chuckled, she snapped another picture of the two of them. | |
"You should send those to your parents. The video too." Bodhi said. | |
"I will," Emily said, "What do you have them saved under in your contacts?" She chuckled as she looked. | |
"Their names." Bodhi laughed. "What else would I save them as?" | |
"I didn't know if you had them under Sterling, or Emily's mom or something," She chuckled as she found both of her parents' names and sent them the photos and video. | |
"What do you have my parents under?" He asked her. | |
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell," Emily told him before handing him back his phone. | |
"So formal." Bodhi laughed. | |
"I'm respectful," Emily teased as she went back to watching Micah. | |
"They love you." He reminded her. "You're the favorite of all my girlfriends." | |
"Girlfriends?" Emily asked with a raised eyebrow. | |
"Don't worry. They're in the past." He smirked. | |
"Yeah, I don't see how you'd have time for another woman with all the hours you work," Emily teased, "Unless that's really where you're at instead." | |
"You caught me." Bodhi teased her. | |
