"This meeting is officially adjourned. Thank you." Isobel said and turned to Brooks privately. "Your gratitude isn't necessary you know. We all understand the order of things and what tends to happen if one crosses a Blackwood warlock."
-
"You were locked in a tower?" Jack teased her.

"I'm not Allstair," Brooks said, "I'm actually quite the opposite."
-
"Pretty much," Maggie said with a chuckle.

"You don't seem too different. Looks like your enjoying taking his place." Isobel pointed out.
-
"You're not missing much." Jack laughed. "Can I get you a drink?"

"I didn't say I wasn't enjoying it, I was just saying I am different," Brooks said.
-
"That would be nice, yes," Maggie said with a smile.

"I don't think you're as different as you'd like to believe." Isobel smirked.
-
"What's your poison?" Jack asked as he walked up to the bar.

"You don't know me," Brooks smirked as he stood up.
-
"Jack and coke," Maggie said as she stood up there with him.

"Maybe I should get to know you then." Isobel smirked.
-
Jack ordered two drinks and handed one to Maggie. "Cheers"

"Why do I feel like you're trouble?" Brooks smirked as he held out his arm for her to take.
-
"Cheers," Maggie smiled, she looked and noticed that some of the council members were entering the masquerade, she knew her mother would be in any minute.

"You're senses must be good." Isobel smirked and took his arm.
-
"Looking for someone?" Jack asked, seeing her eye the entrance.

"I'm good at reading people," Brooks smirked as he walked out with her.
-
"My mother," Maggie said, slight disdain in her voice.

"I thought you might be." Isobel smirked. "Perks of being a warlock right?"
-
"She the one keeping you locked up in the tower?" Jack stated more than asked.
-
Sarina?sat at the bar sipping a drink as she watched the crowd. She searched for Clay's aura among the society members.

Brooks smirked as he walked with her, "I guess you could say that."
-
Maggie nodded, "You guessed it," She smirked, taking a sip of her drink.
-
Clay walked in with other council members, he wasn't going to stay too long since he needed to get to his cabin.

"Why didn't you stick around? You could have run the council from the start." Isobel asked curiously.
-
"Parents suck." Jack said and took a drink.
-
"Hey stranger." Sarina called to Clay. "Fancy seeing you."

"I never really wanted any part of it when I was younger," Brooks said, "Our father had always groomed Allstair from the start."
-
"Tell me about it," Maggie chuckled.
-
Clay heard a voice and looked over, "Hey," He smiled, "I didn't know you'd be here," He said.

"If Allistair was still around, what would you be up to now?" Isobel asked.
-
"You were allowed out tonight right?" Jack asked her. "Live it up while you can."
-
"I lay low usually." Sarina told him.

"In my cabin, fishing and keeping to myself," Brooks said with a light chuckle, "I'm not very social."
-
"I'm going to try, if I can keep away from her or if someone keeps her occupied," She said.
-
"I didn't know you were in the Society at all," He told her.

"I didn't think you were." Isobel smirked. "Thats once difference between you and your brother."
-
"I'll do you one better." Jack grinned. "I can put a cloaking spell over you so she can't see you."
-
"I don't always stay for the parties." Sarina explained.

"As the night goes on I'm sure you'll find plenty more," Brooks said as they stepped into the party.
-
"I'm all for that until she starts looking for me," Maggie said, "Let's see how the night goes, if it gets bad enough I'll take you up on your offer," She smirked.
-
"Neither do I, I think they're too extravagant," He said.

"I wasn't that close with Allistair." Isobel pointed out.
-
"Its an open invitation." He said and sipped his drink.
-
"Go big or go home." Sarina chuckled.

"I'm finding not that many people were," Brooks said, slipping his mask over his face.
-
Maggie smiled and sipped her drink, "So you're a warlock," She said.
-
"Too big can be too much," Clay chuckled.

"Did you ever find out what caused his death?" Isobel asked.
-
"Yeah. My whole family is." Jack told her. "Brooks is my uncle."
-
"I agree." Sarina laughed and eyed him. "Let me guess, you're some kind of shapeshifter? Werewolf?"

(What killed him?)
-
"So you're like royalty," Maggie teased as she did a fake curtsy.
-
"You got it," Clay chuckled, "What about you, witch? Vampire?" He asked.

(I was thinking when his wife died, she used a spell to link her life to?his so he died too. cause in the last rp she was dying.)
-
"Not even close." Jack laughed. "I'm the black sheep."
-
"Clairvoyant." Sarina explained. "I can only see things on the spiritual plane."

(Lol What was her name)
-
"Wait, so if he's your uncle that makes you Allistair's son," Maggie said, "I'm so sorry for your loss," She said touching his arm.
-
"Okay, so you can see me now?" Clay asked.

(i don't think she had one lol she was just "Allistairs wife" so you can make it up)

"Thanks." Jack said with a weak smile. "We weren't real close."
-
"I can see anything with a soul." Sarina nodded. "Did you know you have two?"

"Nicolette linked herself to him, when she passed he went with her," Brooks said.
-
"I know how you feel," Maggie said, "Still it mustve been hard."
-
"I did," Clay said, "I met a clairvoyant after my first transition."

"Why am I not surprised?" She smirked. "That woman was crazy."
-
"It is what it is." Jack shrugged.
-
"Its how I knew you were part wolf." Sarina said.

"That she was," Brooks nodded in agreement.
-
"It is, so if you weren't close and Brooks is taking over, why are you here?" Maggie asked.
-
"And how do you feel about that?" Clay asked, he was the only one in town.

"Did you get along with her?" Isobel asked as she eyed the crowd for her daughter.
-
"Taking care of family business, Neither of my parents left a will so we have to figure out who gets what." Jack explained.
-
"Intrigued." Sarina admitted. "How did you become a werewolf if you're the only one?"

(I started Surviving the Sterlings =] )

Brooks shrugged, "I was civil, we all were," He told her.
-
Maggie nodded, "So where are you when family assets aren't being sorted through?"
-
"My father was one, he was away over ten years ago though," He told her.

"I'm suprised she didn't put a hex on the whole town." Isobel smirked. "Nobody liked her."
--
"I'm staying at my parents house right now." Jack told her.
-
"So were you born a werewolf or bitten?" Sarina asked.

"I've heard," Brooks said, "I did feel bad for her sometimes."
-
Maggie nodded, "What about when you're not at your parents, I've haven't seen you around here."
-
"Born," Clay said as he checked the time, "I hate to cut this short but I have to get up to the woods," He told her, "It's a full moon tonight."

"Really? Why?" Isobel asked curiously. She didn't have empathy for anyone.
-
"I'm usually away at school." Jack said. "What about you? Ever go anywhere besides your tower?"
-
"You won't hurt anyone tonight." Sarina said, sensing his future.

"She was all alone, and my brother was never faithful to her," Brooks said.
-
"I go from my tower to my mother's museum," Maggie shrugged, "What a life huh?"
-
Clay smirked, "Because I'm headed to the woods."

"If she wasn't such a nightmare, your brother might have stuck around." Isobel pointed out.
-
"Exciting." Jack smirked. "Which museum is it?"
-
"Would you mind coming to my shop tomorrow? I'd like to do a reading on you." Sarina asked.
